Out of those listed, the Antec HCG 850w Gold

Whatever you do, don't buy the Gigabyte (Aorus)
The Antec is Seasonic OEM.

SeaSonic or Superflower are the go to OEMs

@eidairaman1 thanks for help and all of you ( @weekendgeek @Samiam66 )
someone in pm told me to go for cooler master v850 v2 gold
since its newest atx12v2.52 norms vs 2.4 for antec and hardware buster said its one of best among xpg core reactor and corsair rx series 2021
what do you think about what he told me ?

From those you mention i would certainly choose the Thermaltake Toughpower GRAND Gold 750 RGB .
I have the outmost trust for Thermaltake's GRAND-series of PSUs , it's their top-notch lineup.
Through the years i have used a lot of top-notch PSUs ( Seasonic , Corsair , EVGA ,Thermaltake) ,and from their top-notch products i would prefer Thermaltake's GRAND series, ( not their lower-tiers, like the normal Toughpower line though... ) , or Corsair's RMx series.

--Just a sidenote ,due to their RGB functionality ,unlike most PSUs , Thermaltake designed those PSUs to be placed with their fan facing upwards(towards the GPU) instead of downwards (towards the bottom of the tower)
EDIT: Ohh i just noticed that you want to power an RTX3070Ti . If i were you , i would prefer an 850watt capacity PSU , just in case...

No , from Thermaltake choose only their GRAND lineup (not lesser lines like the GF1) .
If they are expensive and you can't afford them , then search for the Corsair RMx series , extremely reliable lineup as well...

EDIT : Hmmm , Just checked Wizzard's review for one of the most power-hungry RTX3070Ti 's , the Zotac AMP extreme ( https://www.techpowerup.com/review/zotac-geforce-rtx-3070-ti-amp-extreme/34.html ) . It can spike up to 424watts , so i guess a 750watt PSU could be sufficient if you don't overclock your CPU or GPU.

I came across this recent post on Reddit

Also this warning on pcpricetracker.in

The NZXT is also a Seasonic OEM from the reviews i seen but does not perform that well. However I would go with the Coolermaster 850W V2 from that list.
I love Seasonic and Antec FWIW. If the XPG Core reactor 850W is an option then that is also a good choice.

@The King saldy no seasonic one only 550w
and no xpg core reactor above 650w i was going for sure for a 850w xpg but they said since it's warrenty limited here we avoid their product's
so the reliable choice seems the cooler master v850 v2 ?
@sith'ari there's some corsair unit's but with no warrenty since algeria is off from corsair support so can't go to their psu's saldy :/

Τhe FE model is using a special 12pin input for power which needs an adapter.
This person doesn't mention the adapter anywhere (just says about 2x8pin cables).
This seems weird to me , i suspect a mistake from user....

Maybe the 12 pin adapter was plugged into the GPU ends of the 2x8's, but he is saying they melted at the PSU end.

i don't know , to me the fact that he doesn't even mention the 12pin power adapter seems like the user is inexperienced.
Perhaps he used only 1 pci-e cable and used the 1x8pin + the piggy tail( 8pin ) which isn't ideal when you power high power-consumption GPUs .
With high power GPUs ,the experts recommend using 2 autonomous 8-pin cables , but who knows what happened in this specific case....

He must have used an adapter as the 8pin cables will not plug into the 12 pin as it is smaller i believe

Yup no way to do it:
1643197485925.png

The only option here is that reddit OP used a single PCI-E cable to power the card, but he mentions "2 8-pin cables". Either way, the answer is in the PSU name "High Current Gamer", it's suppose to handle high load on PCI-E without any issues, especially with 3070 Ti.

sorry i just noticed your comment .
If Aris( :)Hardware Busters International + :)Techpowerup PSU reviewer + :)Tom's PSU reviewer ) recommended you the Coolermaster v850 v2 ,among those units , then sure , he's the most suitable person to recommend a PSU(i also hadn't noticed that in your previous comment) , so ... go for it :) !!

From those you mention i would certainly choose the Thermaltake Toughpower GRAND Gold 750 RGB .

This is UNBELIEVABLE !!
Few minutes after i recommended the Tt GRAND line of PSUs , i had a system shut-down(lost monitor signal at first , and afterwards whenever i connected a usb device the PC shut-down !!)
It appears that my own Tt GRAND unit ( Tt GRAND Platinum 850 ) ,which i used to love and was used for around 6-7 years flawlessly .... gave-up:( !!!
I re-installed my backup PSU a Seasonic AX760 ( another all time favourite of mine) and my system works again , so it seems to be PSU's failure .
I used to love the Tt GRAND line ,since in the past i experienced disappointing failures even from the highest-end PSUs ( 2 :eek:Seasonic Snow Silent 750 units failed within few days !! as well as an EVGA Supernova G2 750 which had a problem with its fan ) .
Since then i bought several of Tt GRAND PSUs ,and today i had the first failure from this line.
I'm so sad right now... it seems that i can't trust any brand afterall... :(

One failure does not make for a bad product. Things like that happen all the time, 6-7years flawess is still excellent.

I see those Grand PSU have 10 years warranty. So you could RMA it?
This is also why getting a long warranty like seasonics 10years is great.

This spesific PSU ( Tt GRAND Platinum 850) is old , before the RGB-era.
It's warranty is 7years , so i have to double check the date of purchase in order to know its exact actual lifetime.
--P.S. This unit is very rare , instead of CWT which Thermaltake uses for their current GRAND lineup , that unit was made from Enhance . Thermaltake doesn't even have this unit at their site nowadays :D!!
There is still data about it in some Tt 's subsidiary site ... nordic.thermaltake it says :

beautiful PSU ,it really was my all time favourite , give it a look : http://nordic.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00002568

EDIT: I just checked the date of purchase : June 11th 2015 .
So it's lifetime was about 6,5 years ,wasn't able to match its 7year warranty.

Excuse me but there is something i can't understand :
You can buy a top-notch CPU(12600K) and a top-notch GPU (RTX3080) but you can't find to buy a decent PSU to back them up:eek: ?
Corsair , Seasonic , EVGA none of them are available besides the Coolermaster V750W V2 ??
Not even from a worldwide e-tailer such as Amazon  ??

--Anyway , as for your question , there are some RTX3080 models that can reach 419watt Vs 352watt of the Founders RTX3080 ( https://www.techpowerup.com/review/msi-geforce-rtx-3080-suprim-x/29.html )
So , among the RTX3080 models you can have almost 70watt difference in power consumption depending on the model.
Considering the fact that nVIDIA recommends 750watt for the Founders RTX3080 , if you are buying an aftermarket model , i would advise you to go for an 850watt PSU.

--P.S.: You can always ask Aris . I'm sure he'll be glad to give you an advice , just like he did in the past ;)
