There's no denying that, most everyone should be able to agree the effects of the election itself have been a great thing. The best turnout in history, and the first African-American president. Now if he gets the 4 years right for most in the nation, then we'll really be in business. Here's hoping. :toast:

i will be watching this presidency even more than i did bushes
should be very interesting to see how people react once they find out he isn't some messiah, or will he turn this country around, only time will tell (i don't predict any serious changes)
but i have to ask, does anyone think there will be a serious attempt on his life?

I think so. If what is happening 1.5 miles away isn't a sign i think some nuts will try something. How long idk.

Well i seriously think it will happen and probably more than once. There are soo many "traditionalist" in this country its not funny.Its just a matter of time/place. Hell.. what if we were sitting here tonight talking about how Hillary Clinton won? Im sure some asshole would try her too. Just think of how many middle age white males that have been presidents in the past.. every damn one of them.
Obama is the first black pres.. and if it was Ms. Clinton.. well you get the point.

If the final vote tally in Oh, PA, FL, and Indiana actually turn out different... I mean, calling a state with 30% of the precinct counted??
A candidate should never concede until all the votes are certified.

PA and FL are at 94 and 92% counted. OH is at 64%

The boon docks of New Jersey. Here the state police don't pull you over for speeding in the back roads. Here the kids and all the teens go to woods parties, and all go woodsing for fun.
The law only exists in cities, not here we are on our own, we many be policed by the state, but they don't come here to much.

I would hate to see him get killed, or injured, but stupid things have happened, and people are idioits, and they exist. Like those two who said they would kill obama and got caputed befoe they ever got to carry it out.
