I think the Wii hype will die down. Right now, they're selling like hot cakes due to the lack of availability and attractive price point... but as soon as the market becomes over saturated, the sales numbers will plummet

I think that can be said of any popular product.

I think the Wii hype will die down. Right now, they're selling like hot cakes due to the lack of availability and attractive price point... but as soon as the market becomes over saturated, the sales numbers will plummet. I'm glad Nintendo is selling so many Wii's though... it's nice to see their product popular among people, unlike the Game Cube.

Question is, is when does the market become saturated.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 market already hit that point.

The wii is just going up up up!
