Perhaps something changed since, but the cumulative updates wouldn't install anymore after removing Edge back then. I would restart Windows to apply the update, it would go on and then fail around the end and revert. I had to reinstall the damn OS.That's not something I ever saw. I only so manual update for critical security problems. Windows update does not run on my systems.
I don't remember how I did it, and perhaps it's not such a show stopper anymore since we're theoretically able to uninstall Edge from the GUI after the digital market act went into effect (not in my case), but back then it horribly messed something up. But how retarded is the overall design when a fucking browser is interconnected with installing updates? I mean WTF!
