Okay what improvements will windows 8 offer up (REAL improvements) over the current windows7 64 home premium offering?

If you are comparing it to Win7 Home Premium, I can write you a whole list, but then again the list would mostly be things that Win7 Pro has.

Win7 Home Premium is shit...

Well I would not say that. The only thing my OS does not have is the language pack. That is it! What the hell do I need that for any way? I only know 2 languages any way, English and BAD English.

Question: Where can you get the latest release candidate for Windows 8?

There isn't a Windows 8 RC as of yet. I believe that the "Public Preview" is going to be available tomorrow 02/29/2012. That was the last I heard on it anyhow.

The window in the logo is pointing the wrong way. It doesn't compliment the text as if there are two seperate components. It's called visual direction, very basic term in design.

I don't think we'll know until it is released and thoroughly reviewed.

Question: Where can you get the latest release candidate for Windows 8?

The consumer preview of Windows 8 is expected to be released in late February which means it should be released some time today!

BTW, for what its worth,….while it is common knowledge that the metro interface can be disabled through the registry (thus restoring the classic start menu )or by using a utility, the question is will Microsoft provide a toggle of their own in an official capacity? I say this because its unclear if such methods (registry / utility) will work on ARM based Windows 8 devices.

Just off the top of my head(because they are things I use every day):

Remote Desktop Hosting
Support for more than 16GB of RAM
Control of Users and Groups
XP Mode
Group Policy Control
