And as a side note if you go here you can compare (some) undocumented changes between patches.
So for E-75 lovers it seems that we'll receive a nice buff for gun depression/elevation.

I doubt NA will get it ahead of us. It has always been RU-->EU-->SEA-->NA during the 8.* patches.

E 75 is pretty beastly as it is, why do they still need to buff it further? They should take a look at the 4502P and Maus instead. Not that it affects me.

it's a funny game and really does pan out the way we individually play, I had an E75, I have an M103, IMO the M103 is better, in fact much better, I can't speak for currently, but a while back most of the stats showed the M103 as the most successful Tier 9, however, in my tier 10, the ONLY other Tier 10 tank that worries me is the Maus and occasionally the E100, only the E100 can consistently penetrate my front armour, only the Maus seems to deflect my rounds at the front, the IS7 for example rarely pens me at the front but I pretty much nail him everytime, my problem is side armour!

With the current gun I am using ("stock" long 88mm), I can easily shoot 3k worth of shells, up to 6k+ in longer fights. This prompted me to consider: should I even bother mounting the 105mm (aka top gun of Tiger II) given that it only has 10% increase in penetration (203->225) and 50% increase in damage per shot (240 to 320) but 4x shell cost . At this rate of firing, my ammo cost will easily breach 10k a game, hitting 15-20k a game. Running this tank will be pretty expensive with top gun, but I am currently pretty average in a tier 7-8 battle instead of being the dominant tank everyone else is talking about.

I used my Tiger II with the 88mm L/71 during some time, the problem is that MM puts the Tiger II with tier 9 and 10 a LOT. If it had a higher RoF with the 88mm i would still use it, but in the end IMO the long 105mm is better, and gold rounds for the 105 are much better.

Forget about making money with the Tiger II (standard account), best you can aim is to break even.

Try using the 88mm until you have gained more exp, then move to the 105mm.

A couple of days ago I played an excellent match whereas my Tiger II and a clan-mate's Tiger II were the top 2 in our team in a game that also had 2 tier 10s and 2 tier 9s. I got around 1k XP while he got 1.1k.

I still ended up only making less than 1k credits (although I survived, I still have to repair and buy back the used ammo).

KT with long 105 is a money drainer. But still it is one of my favorite tanks.

Yesterday I've had my first battle in AT-8. Pure troll in a Tier 6 battle.
Just look at hits received, Potential damage received. Ah, and at distance traveled too, this TD is Speedy Gonzales.

Look at it the other way, with the 105mm and it's increased damage (which is the key) you will inevitably gain more kills and therefore battle wins "should" improve, the increased income should counteract the costs in most cases, but more importantly you really will be performing as a tier 8 and at least be competative against tier 9's etc, otherwise just stay at Tiger and enjoy the lesser repair costs and better MM.

Thanks for the replies. I think I am going to finish the grind to the long 105 and give it a try.I suspect with more careful aiming I will be able to break even in the long run given that I am already making 0-10k a battle with the stock 88. I have no problems dealing my share of damage in tier 8-10 battles (that's 1.5-2k worth of damage I believe) by playing like a Panther II , but struggle to do as much when I am the highest tier.I am more or less forced to lead the fight then, and with low damage per shot it's pretty fatal in most cases.

The MM gods haven't been so merciful on the Valentine AT as it was on the T2 TD. I usually get tier'd up with T5's and don't do that much damage with the stock gun to really make a difference.

So, being that the M4 Sherman is part of this weeks Medium Mayhem, I decided ti bring out the good ol' derp gun and put some gold shells in it. This was the result. Spoiler so you don't see the actual picture before reading this. I will say that I got 2.1K damage.

I don't have enough garage space or money for both, to make things more complicated than it already is I don't really like AMX12t (prefer Cromwell), I like Tiger P (Ferdi shares roughly the same armour layout I think), but I like mobile tanks (Pz IV will be mobile enough for me). Decisions, decisions.

Tiger II looks like its going to be in the garage for some time, its not a bad tank but I personally think it is just inadequate in all things: just not enough damage, armour just not powerful enough to take a massive beating like Tiger P, speed just not enough to get where you want, and traverse just not fast enough to counter circleshooting Cromwells. Or perhaps I need to level up the crew a bit more so that everything becomes "just enough".

If you like mobility you are not going to like the Ferdi, it was a fun TD though.

What level your crew is?, because mine is 100% with 4 skills (4th at 99%) and the traverse is very good IMO, i never get circleshooted by fast tanks in my Tiger II. I really like the Tiger II, i feel i can defeat any Tier 8 opponent with it, i can't say the same about the Lowe, although i have the same win ratio with it.

Not sure what I think of the SU-100M1. It is quite mobile, which has a tendency to land me too far forwards, but that's just something I got to learn to handle.

It's gun on the other hand is TERRIBLE. It can do quite well, but it's just so RANDOM, which is deeply annoying, since I never know what to expect of any engagement.
