X1900gt Unlock Bios Found!!!

Tofu please to answer me whether it is necessary to put -newbios command when flashing GT card with moded to 16 pipes BIOS using atiflash? (I will prepare automated flash utility for that but need that information in order to include the right command line). Thanks for the support .

just bought the Sapphire X1900GT 0x724B: R580LE 0x12BB4 DDR3
Core sits at 573.75
Mem sits at 594.00
Was just wondering if the 0x12BB4 has gotten out of the pending stage for unlocking... i read all regarding the r580le and 0x12bb4 and havent seen an update..
also, Was wondering what a safe Core/Mem set was for use in ATItool on Stock Cooler....

just keep the loading temps 80-90 degrees

getting an aftermarket cooler like the artic one which i have on my card will give you much more head room on your temps

currrently have my card @ 702mhz with 1.525v and mem @ 1602mhz 2.086v loading between 68-74 degrees

i was getting higher loading temps @ 575mhz with stock cooling!

It was not necessary for the people who unlocked the card, me and some others.

But you can give it a shot if you want to, if you're lucky, it might make a difference.

Yes, from this thread, only 2 out of IUNNO HOW FKN MANY.

Theres one guy who PM'd me saying he unlocked it, although I'm skeptical.

First who unlocked is ME:

All of us either had the 0x3FE4 or an ENG SAMPLE core.

kk but everytime u try to use atitool (beta 15b cause its the only one that gives voltage and fan control) to adjust my card the screen kicks out.... im not a genius, but i do read up, was wondering if i need to use custom bios fer the card b4 i can adjust... its soo not as easy as my old setup, which i admit was a lil behind... 9600pro was much easier... lol

kinda worried cause its a lil more extensive these days n i dont wanna burn my $320 card..lol

almost makes me wanna use my 30day exchange to pay the extra $50 fer the xt....

Hi,

My bios in rabit says B04201 BIOS
and niether R580 pro or XL

and my GB Pipe select reads 0xAD4E

Any chance of an unlock?

x1900gt overclock probs too

I have same problem,
mine defaults at 513/657
I can push the core to 595 no probs
but when I try to change the mem the screen goes blocky an I need to reboot?
What's the crack there then?

These cards dont show up as PRO or XL in RaBit and its still R580 core, at least my card.

It transpires that mine is a ver2 and there is no voltage adjustment in atitool for me!
Is it poss to change mem voltage too?

now I can run gpu@574 and mem@830
No voltage options though?

mine overclocks on the Catalyst overclock at 621gpu and 601 mem... aand thats with ati's overclock device... but ati tools just screws up my screen and resets my comp..

The 3dmark score from the guy who claimed to have unlocked pipes a few posts back isnt at all impressive, a normal X1900GT could get the same score.

Mister tofu, I appologize if I insults you by any way by that post, but I have to know, that file you has in that post, is it for x1900gt? I got my card and Cant clock. I wonder if I culd get help to unlock some more pipelins and make my card clockabel.
I am not quite home yet, but will be it tomorrow and then I can post some specs abot my card. Thing I figured so far is that it is ver 2, with red stock cooler and it is an Saphire card, Crossfire ready. I use Thermaltake Tide Water cooler and have GPU speed on idle at 37-38 C and playing like FEAR or Oblivion not more then 42. On Full flow it dont go over 40.


If there is any kind if information that you needs to know before you can help me, than you must just ask. I wuld realy presiate if some one with knolege of this things culd help me. Am not a 14 year retard. Thanks

Hello people, I have been here and reading this forum for a quite a time and I understand like there is no modification for Saphire x1900GT v2 card yet.

But I think if some one have fixed bios for that card he shuld post it with right descriptions.

I realy want to push my new card to the edg. If it is possibel to unlock extra pipelines and shaders I want to do it, to make it clockabel with ATI tool (I gues it is just a question of when the new ver is out?)

Now, I post a pic of what info I have gathered so far from my card and my bios. Dunno me is not a pro on computer but not a total noob. I can follow instructions
