X1900gt Unlock Bios Found!!!

TOFU - Ive got a Club3D 1900RX that has always shown up as a GT since i installed it. Ive just saved my bios and run it in RABiT and have the same device ID as you (724B, 0B12, 1002) but the description is just randomness... (v/PN-113-B04202-101, desc- B04201 BIOS).

Would you be able to o/c and unlock this bios/card (if so, can you pls )??

scaramanga i have exactly the same readings in rabit but this is a sapphire
mine came out of the box with clocks 513 / 657 with only 12 pipes

is it possible to unlock 16pipes

is it possible to flash an xt bios to our gt's to unlock the remaining pipes

If you have rev2 card, its impossible to unlock 16 pipes.
If you have rev1 card, open your bios with RaBiT, and if u see R580pro core, then u can try to flash 16p bios, but x1900gt with R580pro was only few ES cards.

As i stated in my post, Rabit gives a weird name for the chip etc but the same device Id etc as the first poster.#

The description is 'B04201 BIOS' no sign of 'R580pro'

"Before sending me the BIOSes, open the BIOS with Rabit and see if the Description says R580 "XL", if it does, don't bother. Make sure before sending me the BIOSes that the description says R580 "PRO""

Have powercolorx1900gt all-in-wonder.
Here is my bios description: R580 113-A52206-101 AIW PAL BIOS 477m/500e
device id: 7249
Well it's not a 580 pro chip but gb_pipe_select is 3fe4 as required, so i think there can be a chance to unlock my card. I looked on my bios in hex editor and saw proper values at line 00000070 - 49 72 18 so there's nothing to change but my card has 36 pipes instead of 48. Do we have something to do with it??

Try one of the modded bioses, or mod your own (BACKUP ORIGINAL FIRST)
it might work, it might get you nothing (most prob.) or it may fubar your card
Thats the risk you have to take

Uff, im sure no one of bioses from here won't work proper on my card 'cos i have an all-in-wonder edition. So i'm askin for only values i have to change in my bios to try unlocking it. Everyone here got "wrong" cards and who has "right" ones has only screens and nothing usefull. SO again, i have rev.1 card, device id: 7249 and gb_pipe_select is 3fe4. My next step?..

BUT....main reason I'm trying this, I've exhausted ALL my options on getting my dual monitor going.

I've gone thru catalyst 6.6-6.12, Omega & NGOhq tweaked drivers. All clean installs no avail

For the life of me I cannot get the 2nd monitor to initailze at all even though all the settings act like it should be working

SO lets unlock & tweak the BIOS! If it mysteriously fixes the 2nd monitor issue as well farkin AWESOME.

If not well you'll be seeing a 16p Unlocked AIW x1900 on ebay shortly

Up to now I haven't seen X2 core which can unlock.

Rahziel did you unlock it to 16 pipes? Or you still need BIOS modification?

Try loading standard windows drivers ver 6.11(not the CCC suite), available @ ATI downloads site under CCC Suite >click> 'additional drivers'. Add to that the ATI Hydrovision driver. Don't use the AVIVO drivers. That just might do it!

Hi eveybody. I am new here.

Lot of work has been done so far here. Got little tired reading! :shadedshu Managed 14 first pages then skipped to the last one and found MAGS's post. I seem to have exactly same card.

I have Sapphire X1900GT 256MB PCI-E. Bought about a month ago from new. Have not yet done overclocking on it yet but modified original cooler since it was a bit too noisy. I now have Zalman VF700-AL cooler on it - quiet!

RaBiT v.2.2.0 reports my card as R580 XT2 (see the attached screen-shots). Anyone managed to unlock pipes so far?

I suspect my card's PCB can be little different. Anyone else has the same? The memory chips Samsung 1.4ns - as usually.
