1) I do.
2) Everyone who would not buy from The Filthy Green does.
3) And a lot of buyers that care about good value, but were carried away by "hardwahr RT" gimmick and "fichers" also do.

For #3 group FSR4 glorified TAA derivative and RT buff has brought AMD offerings into very very buyable category.
Agreed, and people do care, the significant improvement with FSR4 shows with how the 9070XT cards have been selling out.
Reviewers have been impressed with FSR4, there doesn't need to be any winner on upscaling, all we need is another option which the average buyer considers a usable alternative.
But, given the Geforce buyers are still looking to bash on AMD, even with improved architecture, and better supply of cards, nothing will impress them enough to stop cheering for an Nvidia monopoly.

Benchmark Scores 3050 scores good 15-20% lower than average, despite ASUS's claims that it has uber cooling.
States to turn any DLSS/XESS/FSR2+ game into FSR4.

Didn't try it myself as I don't have a 9000 card (yet).

Respective compatibility list:

Show me the link to "price".
Actual TSMC price, not "some dude somewhere said so".
This is based industry analysis, are you saying that this value isn't good enough?

Ok let's bring b580 into the picture, in the same conditions, the 9070xt die would be 50% more expensive to make and intel at least needs to sell it at cost to board partners.

The 9070xt base model has a 57% higher power draw and 25% extra VRAM Over the b580

But some how the MSRP of a 9070xt is 140% more than that of a b580!
Is this in any way the fault of TSMC?

No scheisse, captain obvious!

You are using napkin math with +/-50% precision (at best), multiplying such numbers and trying to make predictions within tens of %.

No, that makes no sense.

Just out of curiosity how does the new media engine perform? I see the power use is better, just wondering how do you test that? Run AV1, VP9, H264/H265 at 4k and avg the power use? Do you test frame rates, etc. as well?

Thanks

I just bought a 9070 XT, should be here tomorrow. Got a bit scared that I would be missing out on Ray reconstruction and then I realized it's in 10 games right now. Not exactly something to base my purchase on. I would have bought a 5070 Ti if they weren't $1000. Coming from an overpriced 3080, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

@Wizzard

There is typo on phases count, you show 2+1 for VRAM, but state 3+1.

No, that makes no sense.
So companies that make there business by advising companies on investments have no idea what they're talking about. good thing we have people in the internet saying they fail by more than 6,5k because it goes against what they want to hear.

Haha, sorry but you are being obtuse her, if you took as much time looking at the napkin math as saying I'm right and you are wrong cause I say so, you would clearly see that it's meant to be a best case scenario in favour of AMD.

And please answer the question instead of simply denying things without giving any thing to support to your opinion, that at this point baseless,

HOW IS TSMC FAULT THA A CARD WITH A 31% BIGGER DIE, 4GB EXTRA MEMORY AND + 115W TDP COSTS 140% MORE?
