I'm a bit confused is this real XFX RX 590 GME Fatboy edition or RX 580 or mining bios installed? My GPU goes 80+C temp while I play Rainbow Six Siege. Can anyone tell if it is using gaming bios?
Weirdly, I saw on the official website that it has a 6 ping and 8 pin power connector. Mine have 1 8-pin connector.

Dev ID 6FDF gives it away, RX 590 GME is based upon the Polaris 20, a True RX 590 is a Polaris 30.

That Card you have is technically a Blackwolf, Im really surprised there were no XFX White pn stickers on it, it is an xfx card due to the pcb used

I suspected that; should I change the bios or stick with this? Where do I get the matched bios file for this card running in stable condition?

80c isn't going to damage it. If performance is as it should be then its fine.

Leave the card bios alone.

Since you pulled the card apart, clean the gpu die and heatsink off, go find a Thermalright Helios or Thermal Grizzly Kryosheet thermal pads, measure the gap between the heatsink and the gpu die and also the ram, find pads that will fill the gap but have 0.25 or 0.5mm additional to compensate for press fit.

Otherwise try to find some Thermal compound for the gpu die and use existing pads

Your card has a bios switch. You can try to check which bios is installed in the other switch position. After changing, you need to reboot

I have gone through the flashing guide before. Unfortunately, I'm not able to repair it. Even the old backup makes the PC stuck at startup, and the PCIE module gives a long red LED. I don't know how to solve it; therefore, I asked the post owner to share his backup so I can try it. Moreover , I try to erase the BIOS by CH341A programmer and reflash it , but the problem as it is.

Not: the disaster for both Bios

Please make a new thread for further support.

You can flash the bioses mentioned in this post since it shares the same PCB (181030HJ) and memory (K4G80325FC). The only difference is clock speed but these should work out of the box.
