Xygmatek Battle Axe
I too found the HeatTapes Provided to be of no use, so I did what any Modder would do, I reached into my Box of Spare Parts, and Located A Vantek IceBerg VGA Cooler, and used the Copper Ramsinks that were Provided, oh, and they had a Much Better Thermal Tape.
In the Matter of the HeatPipe being so FN Large, I had to take a Dremel to my CopperHeatsinks and Grind them Down enough of the Fins so Could Slip them in Around the HeatPipes, easy enough, though it took a bit of Playing around with them.
Lastly, I cut the PWM Portion of the Stock Gigabyte HD4850 Heatsink and used it to Cool the PWM Circuit. My Temps seem to a little better than what you Found with yours, though I took the time and Played with it, it is in my Humble Opinion, one of the Best Dang Coolers once tweaked for top Performance.
I found the Heatsink Plate very Flat which really surprised me, so I didn't have to resort to Lapping, which I have had to do on Some Coolers in the Past.
