I'm curious how loud the pump will sound mounted outside of the case. Also will it be connected externally, or will you run the wires back in?
I am running the wires back inside. Mounted there, I can't expect too much of a sound difference over using their standoffs since that was just grille in that area. I've added some rubber washers to act as isolators to keep the reservoir from making direct contact with the case.

After seeing the discussion about PhysX in a long time (because Nvidia ditched the 32bit support for it), I put a dedicated PhysX card on my 3rd PC in the form of GT 640 because why not.

Swapped my AIO out for my first one. That Frozen Edge performed ok, but the pump has always been loud on that one. Plus for whatever reason I am seeing way lower load temps with this one. This thing is a pretty basic case so I had to make it look uglier with some stickers and a p/p setup on my AIO. :)

Just finished putting a small system together to replace a 10th Gen i3 Intel NUC that is connected to my TV. While I am waiting for my MSI 482 2Tb NVME drive, I have a 500Gb MP44L with WIN 11 Pro that I am using to stress the system out, though once I get it, I plan on installing Bazzite and turn it into a steam PC for light gamming. So far, the system is running pretty sweet, that even The Last of us run good on it surprising.

And here we are again! Picked up gtx 1660ti (evga xc 3 slot) last night for my workstation (replaces gtx 1060). $80 well spent. Threw a block and heatsinks on it and here we go! After overclocking temps went down 24c on gpu 25c on hotspot. VRAM has no sensors.
2nd place for my config so far in pcmark10, 3dmark. Onward!

i know it's still dusty (mainly due to being slightly sticky and i used a dry cloth) but i tried my best and it does seem to look bit exaggerated in the pics but it is still alot better

monitor upgrade, swapped monitor with my brother, 75hz over 60hz and freesync, not bad but can't take advantage of latter because my monitor doesn't have dp.

Urge to post a gif that descrambles to something shocking is hard to resist after being lead to believe I was about to read how the cat ruined your laptop. :p

It's been over two months of watching the mailbox for SATA powered fan adapter from Superflower. By that point I was convinced someone grabbed it from wherever it got left outside. Then a few days ago I was advised to avoid online purchases due to an immense level of package theft.

Despite that terminal loss I decided to make one more attempt at correctly installing my front case fans . Only took an hour but they can now be easily daisy chained for use with a powered adapter of some kind. With any luck I'll find a reasonable quality single fan model that supports PWM. And actually take reception of it.

Continuing my weird habit of trying to shoehorn as much hardware into a mid-tower as possible, I'm going to have to make a custom mount for my Corsair pump/reservoir since the 3080 is so long that I can't use the factory mounts. (Don't mind the foam, I'm moving and I'll finish it next month.)

Case In Process.jpg

I also have to send my XD5 pump/reservoir in for RMA since it somehow it cracked the outer housing (never moved the case).

Actually most likely of them are on a curve. Besides, what better than a f1 v10 singing?! The reason for so many fans is so they can spin slower and cool hotter parts directly.

It's like Ferrari had a tech plumber baby that built a mean CPU machine.
Yeah, lol, thanks for the compliment. There is still a few things missing here that I have shown here before and some new things coming. I have to deal with the upside down Nvidia text on the GPU somehow and as it the GPU is upside down, its difficult to cool... so some ducting, or something may be in store. I am working on my other rig at the same time and I think its time to get them both finished an move on to the next one.
Here is a look at a stock version of this case. I took the image from Bill Owens site (sorry Bill, lol) as I couldnt find my OG pics from over a decade ago.
