damn... no reviews yet?? I need to know the performance of this thing...

The Noctua D14 is way to big for me... I need one with comparable performance and smaller. This Zalman would be perfect.

Yeah same one I linked earlier but no reviews on say a highly overclocked 2500k or 2600k or vs. a big gun like the nh-d14 or even a venomous x or megahalems.

Can't wait to get this Zalman though. Even though they failed on the base nothing that a bit of lapping won't fix and she does look promising. I don't mind the noise levels and All my fans are blue LED on my case anyway and electricity is included in my rent so no problems for me.

Actually looks like it'll be more eyecandy than a great cooler if it only beats a Noctua NH C-14 by 1c based on the testing chart below. The Alpenfohn K2 seems to be more on par with the Silver Arrow and NH-D14:

Not to mention that base needs to be lapped hardcore. There is no way I would purchase this cooler and use it as is.

I had a old Zalman CNPS 9500 and it was fantastic... I hope this one becomes the successor.
