Zotac 5090 Solid disabled ROPs

Seems like you have a defective chip, but let's see what happens.
I'm not too surprised, as nodes are getting so insanely small, I'm more surprised this is not as common as it could be.

Out of curiosity, did you take the card apart and see what markings are on the GPU die ?

Considering that I might lose the warranty doing this, no.

The end of my story (for those interested):
I returned the card to the seller and bought an Aorus Master Ice 5090D instead (I live in China). Everything is great with the card; all the ROPs are in place, and the results in 3DMark (Steel Nomad) are excellent—around 15,000 right out of the box, without overclocking. I am very satisfied. Thank you for your attention to my problem and support. I really hope that Nvidia doesn't make such a terrible mistake again.

I was able to get the 5090 Zotac Amp Extreme Infinity. I have not opened the box because I've read that some cards have 176 ROPS and others have 192 ROPS with more performance. Excluding the cards with 168 that have to be RMA'd, are the Zotac cards only going to have 176 ROPS? I read specs of the Nvidia, Asus and Gigabyte 5090 cards. They all have 192 ROPS from what I've read.

Is this accurate?
