One of the fastest air-cooled GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics cards you can buy, the ZOTAC GTX 980 Ti AMP Extreme (model: ZT-90505-10P), started selling. It offers some of the highest factory-overclocked speeds for the GTX 980 Ti, with 1253 MHz core, 1355 MHz GPU Boost, and 7220 MHz (GDDR5-effective) memory, compared to reference speeds of 1000/1076/7012 MHz.

The ZOTAC GTX 980 Ti AMP Extreme features the company's in-house designed triple-slot IceStorm cooling solution, which features a massive dual fin-stack heatsink, that's ventilated by a trio of temperature-activated fans. The card draws power from a pair of 8-pin PCIe power connectors. Display outputs include three DisplayPort 1.2, and one each of HDMI 2.0 and dual-link DVI. Available now, the card is priced at US $700.

I hyperlinked memory clock because Newegg store page says 7010 MHz, which is incorrect. It runs at 7220 MHz.

Only $50 more than reference too, nice!

im so stuck between this monster and MSI gaming ?
if this bad boy does not suffer from coil whine I will get it.

not even gonna consider G1 since i heard, read , watched so many vids of its extreme coil whine sound that you can even hear it over Fans sound.

I have an MSI Twin Frzr also and dead silent and no coil whine... This one also got good reviews.

BTW, is this a 3 slot card??

I think both of them are :pimp:

MSI is a twin-slot for sure. but this 3 slot one...hmmm. Not sure is worth it. Just wasting 1 slot for cooling is not that good idea imo...

Never owned a ZOTAC GPU before. That will change shortly as I just ordered one of these bad boys:)
Yes it is a 3 slot card.
