Zotac's RTX 3060 AMP White Edition offers a refreshing change in color theme that will appeal to many who want to show off their hardware in a case with a window. The card comes overclocked out of the box, with a very good dual-slot cooler that achieves excellent temperatures and decent noise levels.

Guess the only thing going for this is that it's white.

Awesome review and a good card. Shows that it doesn't have to be a 3 fan monster to have adequate cooling.

W1zzard, any chance we can start getting a page and charts about eSports latency in your reviews?

I'm a total eSports noob. How do you test that? Isn't it constant for all NVIDIA and all AMD, depending on whatever latency feature they have?

A great review, but here is my take based on that:

The Good:
  1. Nice, clean industrial design
  2. Cool looking backplate
  3. Only takes 2 slots
  4. Decent connectivity/resolution/multi-monitor support
The bad:
  1. Recessed power connectors - major PIA - as a result of bad engineering/design choice on the backplate - an ePyC fail :(
  2. 2 different size fans - as a result of bad engineering/design choice on the shroud - also an ePyC fail :(
  3. Plasteek backplate - cheap-ass p/o/s//// cost-cutting BS
The ugly:
  1. Black pcb - on a so-called "WHITE" card -- major, gigantic f/A/i/L :(
  2. Silver backplane - see above
Overall, a p.A.s.S IMHO, at least until the prices come down significantly....

Damn....RTX 3060 are already popping up on ebay and listing at the "Buy It Now" for $1000+....I did see one that was going through an actual auction and it was already up to $640.

Something seriously wrong with this whole situation. At this rate I think I'll just tap out of PC gaming. Utilize my 980Ti until it dies on me and then throw in the towel.

I've seen people test it with either a high speed camera or dedicated HW. And it seems depending on the latency feature that's available, the click to flash latency improvement can be quite significant.

bruh. Even the 2060 Super and RX5700 non XT seems like the better choice IMO. What a train wreck of a release. The only reason it's relevant are the newer RT and Tensor Core. That's it.
