ZOTAC RTX 4090 Graphics Card Pictured

But pc go brr and numbers go higher!

Luckily I can use a wireless noise-suppressing headset.
Does that keep you cool too, or are you happy to sweat as you game next to your 700W space heater? :D

Winter is coming, also if needed I can go game outside in the snow. Jokes aside that and a fan works.

Definitely not an excuse for wasting power for number chasing though. :)

It seems many people that buying RTX 3090 the last month (mid August till now) don't tempted at all from RTX 3090Ti (nearly 9% faster at 4K) with only $100 street price difference.
The demand forced the difference to be below $100 in some cases the last week.
I wonder how many from the potential 4090 buyers (after one Q that the first wave of enthusiasts will buy it anyway ) will buy and undervolt, go one tier down to 4080 or switch to AMD.
450W just doesn't seem to be as popular as Nvidia though.

I recently bought an EVGA 3080ti FTW3 for $820 and, if the performance is a huge uplift and price isn't ridiculous, will use their StepUp program for a 4090.

I do hope the 4000 series undervolts as well as the 3000 series.
I can get slightly better performance at lower fan speeds, temperatures, and voltage vs stock on this card. In the handful of benchmarks I typically use, stock the FTW3 boost range is 1850MHz to 1895HMz with voltages 0.98Xv to 1.081v. When undervolting it to 0.925v, it will do either 1905MHz (intensive RTX) or 1920MHz (rasterization). I can't even hear the card in my case over the projector fan and the max temp is low 70s C. This card becomes parabolically more picky with increased clocks, even as I add voltage. Not worth it. I could muster about 2.X% more out of it when adding +150MHz to the clock, but with ridiculous heat and fan speed. Just not worth it.

We need a poll on pricing!

Holy moly thats huge. Soon or later the video card will be 5 slots or 6 slots.
