Performed Mods:
or cooling the 8800GTX: THERMALTAKE CL-G0099 TMG ND5 NVIDIA COOLER AKASA AK-455-5G HI PERFORMANCE THERMAL COMPOUND 5GR W/ SPREADER CARD .......fan controller: AEROCOOL GATEWATCH II BLACK.......fans: AC RYAN ACR-BF8973 BLACKFIRE4 UV LEDFAN 120MM UVBLUE-GREEN / 4X UV LED x2
I removed the bottom HDD cages and installed 2 x A.C.Ryan green-purple fans, and then I installed an fan with a preinstalled thermostat for the airflow output, which shows inflow while running. Then Getting all the controller wires in place was a pain.... I setup 3 fan controllers (2x4 fan wires + 1x1 cpu fan wire) and thats not including all the thermometer wires ...I first used a cable canal (like the ones we use on walls) to hide the cases' cables and then tried to route the others...Left power cables for last. Anyway, what I really hoped for, is finally a reality.... low temperatures all around inside the case.for example e6420@2.13ghz idle temp: 12 C, e6420@3.2ghz (oc) idle temp 18 C, 8800gtx@565/1350/1800 idle temps gpu:55C, mem:42C ................................................................... I was a bit worried about the heat spread inside the case instead of out of the case, when using this cooler ...according to reviews, anyway! But, with all this airflow, I soon found out that this was not a problem. Not with this case! and about 300cfm maximum air intake!and 250 outflow!

actually, after reading a couple of reviews I knew that temps would drop, but I was a bit worried about all the heat flowing inside the case. But I believe that I proved that with the right case the heat does not build.... So for a drop from 68 to 55C on that card, and no heat building up in the case, I am really happy!

as for the wiring...forums.techpowerup.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=12670&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1204582476

6/10(excellent) i think is good. but i am woried about the 3d mark score very good mobo, extreme oc, and a oc gtx and you get 12512? that is low.... that make me think about the quality of components and the setup.

9/10 from me...

Excellent on everything including the cable management which is a massive factor I take into account. The reason it wasn't a full 10 is due to me being a git an not into large chassis. Apart from that, it's really is an impressive rig.

You must be extremely pleased.

Great stuff!

hexsolutionsNETnice rig! looks like you really thought about the airflow in such a big case.
thank you...

my main problem what the fact that after changing the GTX cooler all the heat generated by the gfx card was pushed into the case... so I had to be careful and create a really good airflow....

From the temp readings I get, it seems that I did a fairly good job!
