Performed Mods:
Removed sides of case other than the hardware mounts.
Cut/drilled holes for grommets, fans, buttons and ports.
Fabricated a new front panel and underside.
Fabricated supports for glass top.
Cut and etched glass for top of case.
Custom paint job on case and hardware.
Custom button and port layout on bottom front of case.
Partially inspired by the Thermaltake P5, I wanted to do an open air horizontal case. This was a budget build, so I did all of the fabricating myself including cutting and bending the sheet metal, painting and details. The color scheme was influenced by the MSi Krait Edition motherboard. I personally liked the black & white contrast, and the blue LEDs bring it all together. I didn't want to use red LEDs (even though it is an AMD video card) because red+white=pink.
EDIT: Have since upgraded this system. RAM was on sale so I went up to 32GB of the G.Skill. Also jumped up to an MSi GTX1080 Ti 11GB card with an EVGA twin fan cooler on it.
