Arctic Announces P12 PWM PST A-RGB 0dB White Fan

ARCTIC, a leading manufacturer of low-noise PC coolers and components, is launching the P12 PWM PST A-RGB 0 dB white case fan today. In light of the continuing demand for white cooling products, the cooling specialist is adding this semi-passive 120 mm fan with digitally addressable LEDs and impressive performance and appearance to its range.

As the additional "0 dB" shows, the P12 PWM PST A-RGB stops automatically via PWM at low CPU load. This allows for silent operation when idle and at the same time guarantees maximum performance when needed - for example for gaming, video editing or running graphics software. At maximum operation, the fan reaches 2000 rpm, but remains pleasantly quiet at 0.3 sone even at full speed thanks to the hydrodynamic bearing and its rubberized, vibration-reducing contact surfaces.

Arctic Introduces Quiet Calm RGB Case Fans with Passive Mode

ARCTIC, today introduces two new semi-passive case fans. A special 0-decibel mode enables completely silent operation when power is not needed. The P12 PWM PST 0 dB fans are available in two different variants, with analog RGB lighting as well as digital A-RGB. Clever feature for silence lovers: The new semi-passive case fans switch to passive mode when the PWM signal falls below 10 %. This allows silent operation at low load while guaranteeing the highest performance when needed.

At full speed, the hydrodynamic sleeve bearing and the new, rubberized contact surfaces reduce noise levels to a minimum. Plus, form has been considered as well as function: twelve RGB LEDs and a transparent rotor provide even, rich illumination. Thanks to high static pressure, the P12 PWM PST 0 dB fans guarantee efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance. An integrated Y-splitter for fan and RGB connection also make them easy to combine.

ASUS Reveals Its GeForce RTX 3060 ROG STRIX Graphics Card

ASUS today revealed their latest flagship iteration on the NVIDIA RTX 3060, the ASUS RTX 3060 ROG STRIX. the graphics card follows ASUS' tried and true ROG STRIX design with a triple-fan cooling solution (that features 0 dB technology when in light use) and an RGB strip detailing alongside the shroud. The RTX 3060 ROG STRIX features a single 8-pin power connector, palatable for this card's expected performance profile, and the company has managed to decrease the footprint of their cooling solution to a 2.7-slot design, which should be more than enough for the card's 170 W TDP.

ASUS has fitted the card with an abundance of connectors that are sure to stand the test of time: 2x HDMI 2.1, and 3x DisplayPort 1.4. ASUS expects the card to be available near the end of February, in both OC and non-OC versions. No word on pricing was available at time of writing - though it will surely be higher than NVIDIA's $329 MSRP.
