GIGABYTE late Wednesday launched its premium custom-design graphics cards based on the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT and RX 6800, under its coveted AORUS Gaming product family. These include the RX 6800 XT AORUS Master, the RX 6800 XT AORUS Master Type-C, and the RX 6800 AORUS Master. The RX 6800 XT AORUS Master and AORUS Master Type-C are nearly identical products, with the latter featuring a USB type-C connector (while the former has a third DisplayPort in its place). Both cards share their underpinnings with the RX 6800 AORUS Master.

The three cards feature GIGABYTE's latest AORUS Max-Covered triple-slot cooling solution that features three fans arranged in a way that sees the fans on the sides overlap the one in the center. Gigabyte has recently submitted four new GPUs to the Eurasian Economic Commission (found by @KOMACHI_ENSAKA) for certification. These four cards all feature the N306T designation which is expected to refer to the upcoming NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti. Thanks to Gigabyte's consistent naming structure we can make a strong educated guess on the upcoming models by looking at their part numbers. The expected models are the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Aorus Master 8G (GV-N306TAORUS M-8GD), Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Gaming OC 8G (GV-N306TGAMING OC-8GD), Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Eagle OC 8G (GV-N306TEAGLE OC-8GD), and the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Eagle 8G (GV-N306TEAGLE-8GD).

GIGABYTE today introduced a 2 TB variant of its AORUS Gen4 AIC SSD. This drive is essentially a PCI-Express 4.0 x16 to four M.2 PCIe Gen 4 x4 riser card that comes with four 500 GB AORUS Gen4 M.2 NVMe SSDs pre-installed. Using it requires a platform with PCIe lane segmentation (most modern platforms since 2016 do), and for the OS to support NVMe RAID.

The riser card component of the AORUS Gen4 AIC SSD has basic logic that controls a lateral blower based on drive temperature, and provides basic disk activity LEDs. Inside, a copper monoblock heatsink pulls heat from all four drives. Each of the four internal M.2 NVMe drives features 96-layer 3D TLC NAND flash memory, and Phison E16 controllers. With NVMe RAID striped, the card offers peak performance of up to 15,000 MB/s sequential reads, and up to 9,500 MB/s sequential writes. Random access performance is rated at up to 425,000 IPS 4K random reads, and up to 440,000 IOPS 4K random writes. GIGABYTE is backing the drive with a 5-year warranty. AMD earlier today formally launched its A520 entry-level desktop chipset, and while we await product launches from motherboard vendors, AMD put out pictures of at least five top implementations by them. We begin with the GIGABYTE A520 AORUS Elite, the company's top product based on the chipset. Once again, GIGABYTE appears to have a feature-rich ATX board based on an AMD chipset, following its $300 implementation of the B550 as an AORUS Master product.

This board appears to have all the basics for a cost-effective gaming PC build, including reinforced PCIe x16, an 8-phase CPU VRM with heatsinks over even the vSoC phases, a premium onboard audio solution that could be ALC1200-based, and provision for ARGB embellishments. MSI is bringing an Arsenal Gaming product to the party, with the MAG A520M Vector Wi-Fi, which is built in the narrow Micro-ATX form-factor, with a chunky VRM heatsink, 802.11ac WLAN, and two memory slots. ASUS rolled out the TUF Gaming A520M-PLUS, which too builds on the strengths of its TUF Gaming brand, with enlarged heatsinks, reinforced PCIe slot, four memory slots, and preparation for ARGB. ASRock unveiled the A520M Pro4, an entry-level board that covers all the bases, including preparation for WLAN, four memory slots, M.2 heatsink like the MSI board, and a second M.2 slot. All three variants offer sequential read speeds of up to 5000 MB/s. The 1 TB and 2 TB variants offer up to 4400 MB/s sequential writes, while the 500 GB variant offers up to 2500 MB/s. The 1 TB and 2 TB variants further offer the same 4K random-access performance numbers of 750k/700k IOPS (reads/writes), while the 500 GB variant offers up to 400k/550k IOPS. GIGABYTE is backing the drives with 5-year product warranties. The company didn't reveal pricing.
