ORIGIN PC announced a pool of new innovative harvest at CES 2014 today, beginning with the launch of the world's most well ahead and customizable desktop case exclusively for their line of award-attractive GENESIS and MILLENNIUM desktops for gamers, artists, professionals and enthusiasts.

Based on the Intel X79 Express chipset, the Rampage IV Black Edition includes all of the best ROG technologies and innovations for unrivaled gaming and overclocking performance. Rosewill announced availability of its Throne line of ATX full-tower cases, in four variants based on color trim, and the type of side-panel (clear acrylic window or mesh with an mounts); which include gunmetal window, black window, and white; next to the original black with mesh side-panel. Measuring 23.2 mm x 58.01 mm x 55.6 mm (WxDxH), and weighing in around 14 kg, Rosewill Throne supports large motherboard form-factors, including HPTX, XL-ATX, E-ATX, and SSI-CEB; besides conventional ATX form-factors.

The Throne features 10 internal 3.5/2.5-inch drive bays, and 3 external 5.25-inch bays. Ventilation includes a pair of 140 mm front intakes, a pair of 140 mm conveyors just behind the drive cage, a 140 mm rear exhaust, two 140 mm top exhausts, one 230 mm side intake (for variants with the mesh panel), and one 140 mm bottom intake. Front-panel connectivity includes two USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0/1.1 ports, and HDA audio jacks.

NZXT is well known manufacturer, specializing in computer cases for real gamers with nice unique and stylish design. Today they release new model with codename Source 530 which has black exterior/interior and a chic NZXT logo, highlighted in white. Next to it we can find two fast USB 3.0 ports and also audio in and out. Front panel is made from special mesh, which helps to keep quiet and efficient airflow inside your PC. As one of the first models on the market, the Source 530 has place to install inside extra fan with pivot feature, which can be rotated manually towards CPU more or on graphic cards, depending on the needs.

At the front cover there are three external 5.25" bays, which can be used to install for example Blu-Ray burner and dual water cooling reservoir. In this situation we can still use one 2.5" slot behind mainboard tray. NZXT Source 530 is not big tower type, but it can still fit all the latest motherboards like E-ATX, ATX, microATX and Mini-ITX. Like it would not be enough, there is also a space to mount water cooling radiators, including the biggest 360mm at the top.

After their fairly recent endeavor in the case market, which debuted with two well received cases (by reviewers and the market as well), the Deep Silence 1 and Deep Silence 2, Nanoxia is now expending its PC Case lineup with three new products. Creatively named Deep Silence 4, Deep Silence 5 and Deep Silence 6, the three new cases follow the same design language and general concept of the previous two models of the series.

Presented under the Made in Germany halo, the three cases are advertised as Almost Noiseless, making use of Nanoxia's own 120mm and 140mm Deep Silence fans (rifle bearing). The Deep Silence 4 is a micro tower case that can accommodate mATX and mITX motherboards, while the Deep Silence 5 is a full tower case that can house any consumer motherboard short of a monstrous HPTX one, that merit is reserved for the largest case in the series, the Deep Silence 6. The cases feature an integrated two channel fan controller as well extensive sound proofing that goes as far as bitumen lined panels and a foam insulated front door. They will be available in three color variants, white, full black and black with a gray front door.

The PC-A79 gives DIY builders several cooling options for a variety of system setups. For the front intake, the three HDD cages have 120mm fans mounted to them. These cages can be set up so that the fans are either towards the front of the case or behind the cage. A dust filter on each on the individual 5.25" front bezels prevents dust from coming in, no matter the setup.

AeroCool launched the GT-S Black Edition full-tower chassis, which it unveiled at this year's Computex event, held in Taipei. Available in two color combinations, black with a dash of red; and white with a dash of blue, the GT-S Black Edition is built with 1.2 mm-thick SECC and ABS. It features highly molded front and top panels, and a windowed side panel perforated for either two 140 mm fans, or a single 230 mm fan. A similar fan mount is concealed into the front panel, while the top can either hold two 120 mm fans, or one 140/200/230 mm fan. A 120 mm rear exhaust, and 140 mm bottom intake complete the ventilation part of the case.

A sliding door on the front panel conceals five 5.25-inch drive bays, with thumb-locks on their bay covers. Internally, the case can pack up to seven 3.5-inch drives. The trays for these drives can each hold 2.5-inch drives of any thickness. The roomy motherboard tray features a cutout at the right spot, for CPU cooler management, and valved holes for cables and tubes to pass through. The tray supports motherboards in XL-ATX, Flex-ATX, SSI-CEB, and E-ATX form-factors, apart from common ATX ones; featuring ten expansion slots. There's room for graphics cards as long as 333 mm, and CPU coolers as tall as 185 mm. Front panel connectivity includes two each of USB 3.0 and USB 2.0/1.1 ports, and HD audio front-panel jacks. The case measures 255 mm (W) x 640 mm (H) x 560 mm (D). AeroCool didn't reveal pricing.

EVGA launched its flagship socket LGA2011 motherboard, the X79 Dark (model: 150-SE-E789-KR). It made its debut at this year's International CES event. Designed for open-air benches, this motherboard requires a case that can seat E-ATX motherboards. It measures 304.8 x 263.5 mm (LxW). It draws power from a combination of a 24-pin ATX input, two 8-pin EPS inputs, and a 6-pin PCIe input, to stabilize bus-supplied power for add-on cards. The X79 Dark from EVGA comes with a plethora of features for CPU and VGA overclockers alike. In addition to onboard controls, EVBot support, consolidated voltage measurement points, EVGA deployed a brand new UEFI setup program interface, which debuted with some of its premium Z87-based motherboards.

EVGA X79 Dark features a 12-layer PCB. It uses a 12+2 phase VRM to power the CPU, a 4-phase VRM for the memory, and features power-gating to individual PCI-Express slots. On the expansion front, you get five PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, from which two are electrical x16-capable, and all five electrical x8-capable, depending on how the slots are populated. Storage connectivity includes six SATA 6 Gb/s internal ports, two of which are from the X79 PCH, four from third-party controllers; four SATA 3 Gb/s ports from the PCH, and two eSATA 3 Gb/s. The rest of its connectivity includes 8-channel HD audio, two gigabit Ethernet interfaces (both driven by Intel-made controllers), six USB 3.0 ports (four on the rear panel, two by header), Bluetooth, and a number of USB 2.0/1.1 ports. Here are some of the first pictures of SilverStone's upcoming flagship chassis, the Raven RV04. Its styling is clearly evolutionary to the Raven RV03, with no chrome highlights, and a more curvy, "concave" front. The biggest change is on the inside, while the RV03 features a 90° clockwise-tilted motherboard tray, the RV04 uses an upside-down BTX-esque motherboard tray. Perhaps the new trend of detachable drive-bays to make room for long graphics cards caught up with SilverStone. The case supports ATX, E-ATX, and SSI-CEB motherboard form-factors.

The Raven RV04 features two 5.25-inch drive bays, seven internal 3.5-inch ones, of which two feature back-planes to enable hot-swapping; and four 2.5-inch bays. It features room for CPU coolers as tall as 165 mm, PSUs as long as 180 mm, and add-on cards as long as 337 mm, and as tall as 170 mm. Its front-panel includes two USB 3.0 ports (standard header), and audio jacks. Ventilation includes two gargantuan 180 mm front intake fans (up to 1200 RPM, up to 34 dBA), and a 120 mm rear fan. Measuring 219mm (W) x 581mm (H) x 497mm (D), the RV04 weighs about 11 kg. It's largely made of SECC steel and ABS plastic. It's available in two variants, one with the opaque side-panel (SST-RV04B), and one with an acrylic window (SST-RV04B-W). Pricing and availability will be announced on May 11.

XIGMATEK announced Assassin, a new line of E-ATX full-tower cases, consisting of black and white versions, with windowed and non-windowed variants. The Assassin features a edgy design chrome accents lining the 5.25-inch bay covers, that run the entire height of the front-panel. The cases are made of SECC steel, and ABS plastic, with acrylic windows on the applicable variants.

Measuring 210 mm x 500 mm x 500 mm (WxDxH), the Assassin tucks in enough room for E-ATX, ATX, micro-ATX, or mini-ITX motherboards. It features three 5.25-inch drive bays, and eight 3.5-inch ones arranged along a single massive drive cage; both drive bay types are tool-free. The case features eight expansion card bays, so you could install a dual-slot graphics card even in the bottommost slot of your motherboard. The motherboard tray features valved flaps for cable management.

With Ivy Bridge-E expected to make its debut this year (Q3 according to roadmap leaks) EVGA has decided to take another look at the LGA2011 platform. This in turn led to the making of a new motherboard based on the Intel X79 chipset, the X79 Dark.

Seen at CES 2013, EVGA's new LGA2011 board bears a black and red color theme and features an E-ATX form factor, 12+1 phase PWM, eight DDR3 memory slots (supporting up to 64 GB of RAM), ten SATA ports (six are SATA 6.0 Gbps), five PCI-Express x16 slots (accompanied by switches that disable/enable them), dual Intel Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 3.0 connectors, Bluetooth, two eSATA ports, and 7.1-channel audio.

The X79 Dark also has an angled 24-pin power connector, a debug LED, EVBot support, plus Power, Reset and Clear CMOS buttons. The motherboard is expected to arrive towards the end of Q1, or in early Q2.

NZXT announced the next-generation of its Crafted Series Phantom line of premium gaming PC cases. The first model in the lineup is the Phantom 820. This ATX full-tower features a stylish new design that builds on the "edgy" design scheme of the original series. Measuring 210mm x 473mm x 490mm (W x H x D), the ATX full-tower case is designed for XL-ATX, E-ATX, ATX, mATX, and uITX motherboards. The case is designed with enough room for multiple 35 cm-long graphics cards, and water-cooling equipment, for which additional room can be made by removing portions of the drive cages.

The case includes room for four 5.25-inch drive bays, and six 3.5-inch (convertible to 2.5-inch) drive trays spread across two detachable cages. There are a total of nine expansion slots. The motherboard tray is surrounded by rubberized ducts that help with cable and coolant tubing management. Ventilation includes 200 mm front-intake, 200 mm side intake (below an acrylic window), 140 mm rear and top exhausts. Ample front-panel connectivity is included, with a number of USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports, in addition to audio. Made primarily of SECC, the Phantom 820 uses high-grade gunmetal ABS exteriors. Cooler Master finally launched the High Air Flow (HAF) XM chassis (model: RC922XM-KKN1). The XM is an ATX mid-tower variant of the HAF X, which is a full-tower. The HAF XM supports standard ATX and E-ATX motherboards, with 8+1 expansion slots, allowing users to take advantage of the bottommost expansion slot on their motherboards to install big multi-slot graphics cards. As with every other HAF series chassis, the design emphasis is on high air-flow, to maintain a positive air pressure inside the case, resulting in better cooling.

Measuring 252 x 530 x 579 mm, the HAF XM features three 5.25" drive bays, and eight 3.5" drive bays (that include two hot-swap bays with removable SATA backplate). Its perforated front grille houses one red LED-lit 200 mm fan (which can be replaced by a 140 mm fan, or two 120 mm fans); one 140 mm rear fan; two 200 mm top fans, and two 140 mm side-panel fans. Its front-panel includes two USB 3.0 ports (standard header), two USB 2.0 ports, and HDA front-panel jacks. The case is made mostly of SECC-steel and ABS plastic. It weighs about 10.5 kg.
