At Computex 2024, Neo Forza showcased its latest innovations in memory and storage products. One of the standout products unveiled was the CUDIMM, a DDR5 memory module tailored for advanced computing applications. With capacity options ranging from 8 GB to 48 GB and a data rate of 6400 MT/s, the CUDIMM promises to deliver high bandwidth and low latency, making it an ideal choice for gaming rigs, servers, and workstations.

Another highlight was the Thoth 5 Series, a state-of-the-art solid-state drive (SSD) lineup that prioritizes exceptional performance. Available in various form factors and capacities up to 7.68 TB, these SSDs boast read/write bandwidths of up to 14,000/8,800 MB/s, along with impressive random read and write IOPS. Designed for data centers and enterprise environments, the Thoth 5 Series combines speed, reliability, and endurance.

Neo Forza, a Taiwanese brand entity under Goldkey Technology Corporation, had a booth at Computex 2023, where the company showed its next-generation memory and storage products. Starting off, the company presented its DDR5 memory kits running at 8000 MHz speeds, indicating the maturity of DDR5 and that we are way past the initial 4800 MHz speeds at launch. The demonstrated kit was a part of the company's TRINITY lineup, which was displayed in white. For demo purposes, the kit was configured as two 16 GB DIMMs.

Next up, Neo Forza has showcased its next-generation PCIe Gen 5 NVMe SSD. Running at x4 lanes of the new PCIe 5.0 protocol, the 2 TB SSD was spotted running at 10 GB/s speeds in both read and write tasks set by CrystalDiskMark benchmark. Goldkey and IIoT technology manufacture company SECO have announced a strategic collaboration for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The collaboration involves mutual specification of both companies' products, joint customer approach, and promotion of CLEA, the IoT-AI platform developed by SECO, towards existing and potential opportunities with Goldkey DRAM solutions under the auspices of SECO Microelectronics and Goldkey Technology Corporation. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at NürnbergMesse on 14th March 2023.

The Newegg PC Building Contest finals were held in Taipei, on April 22nd. This isn't a typical e-sports event, or even an overclocking/benchmarking contest, but one with a very simple premise—build an operable PC using the parts of your choice, within a time-limit. The finals saw the top-5 contestants from a pool of 50 make their way to Taipei, and for the final event, the time set was just 1 hour. That seems like an eternity for someone used to building PCs, but this isn't a mom-and-pop Dell you're building—a fully fledged high-end gaming desktop with certain mandatory components to have (although the choice of make of the components is up to you). You're supposed to assemble the desktop and bring it up to an operable state.

Neo Forza became the DDR5 memory and SSD manufacturer of choice for most of the finalists. Neo Forza today unveiled the Trinity DDR5-7200 32 GB (2x 16 GB) dual-channel memory kit. Based on SK hynix A-dies, the modules pack an Intel XMP 3.0 profile that runs the kit at its advertised speed of DDR5-7200. It also includes an AMD EXPO profile, although this enables a slightly lower speed of DDR5-6400. The DDR5-7200 XMP 3.0 profile ticks at timings of 36-46-46-82; while the DDR5-6400 EXPO profile offers 40-40-40-77. Both these profiles run the modules at 1.4 V. Neo Forza claims that the module comes with good overclocking headroom, and they've achieved DDR5-8000 on an Intel Core i9-13900K machine with minimal effort. The company didn't reveal pricing or availability information.

PC enthusiast memory and storage brand Neo Forza, detailed its plans to roll out DDR5 memory for desktop PCs. It also sheds light on some of the possible combinations of memory speed and density under development. Q4 2021 is when the company's first DDR5 memory modules will debut. These will be basic, bare-PCB modules with specs and speeds closest to JEDEC's. The company will start out with DDR5-4800 MHz modules, with densities of 8 GB, 16 GB, and 32 GB. The starting CAS latency on these things appears to be 40T. From what we gather, 16 GB will be the new single-rank standard memory size, 8 GB single-rank will be a low-cost option; while 32 GB could be commonly dual-rank, rarely single-. These modules will likely be co-branded with authorized DRAM IC providers.

Vanilla DDR5-4800 modules are only the beginning. Neo Forza plans to develop gaming-grade memory modules, complete with chunky heatspreaders, RGB LED illumination, and more importantly, higher clock speeds. The company expects that as DDR5 matures as a standard, speeds of DDR5-6400, DDR5-7200, and DDR5-8600, will become common for the enthusiast segment. The higher frequency modules will likely be 16 GB single-rank. As densities ramp up, 64 GB dual-rank modules will be possible, and Neo Forza expects to ship 128 GB (2x 64 GB) dual-channel kits, or scale out to 4-channel thru 8-channel HEDT platforms.

Regardless the hype surrounding the impending DDR5 memory and boards, Neo Forza (the gaming arm and brand of Goldkey Technology Corporation, TAIWAN) firmly believes DDR4 systems to still be the de-facto choice for the gaming community for some time to come, due primarily to both budget considerations and the large pool of DDR4 community forums.
