PQI to Launch More Flash Based Storage Devices at CES 2009

Besides the USB 3.0 demonstration, visitors attending the 2009 CES at Las Vegas may also take a look at PQI's booth, where the company will have on display their full range of Solid State Drives, USB Flash Drives (UFD), Memory Modules and Flash Memory Cards. Among these will be four brand new and never seen before products - 1.8-inch microSATA SSD S518, Express Card SSD S520, 2.5-inch SATAⅡ SSD S525 and e-SATA Combo Card S530. The 32GB Express Card SSD S520 utilizes PCMCIA form factor that supports both USB2 and PCI Express connectivity. Users have the option of using it as a portable USB flash drive or to extend their PC / laptop storage capacity. The 64GB e-SATA Combo Card S530 has an e-SATA connection interface and reaches a maximum read speed of 90MB/Sec. Finally, both PQI's 1.8-inch microSATA SSD S518 and 2.5-inch SATAⅡ SSD S525 are available with a maximum capacity of 128GB. They are also suitable for installation into PCs, laptops or mobile workstations. Expect more information on each drive at CES 2009.

PQI Unveils New 4GB Phoenix Series DDR3 Kit

Power Quotient International (PQI) has released a new DDR3 dual channel memory kit. Part of the Phoenix Series of DRAM products, the Turbo Immortality Edition DDR3-1600 4GB (2x2GB, CL9-9-9-24)) dual channel kit is aimed at being paired up with the latest Intel X38, X48 and NVIDIA nForce 790i motherboards. The two modules also feature aluminum heat-spreaders with a phoenix graphics engraved on them. Set to work at 1600MHz DDR3 frequency and beyond, the XMP (Extreme Memory Profiles) supporting modules make use of Elpida's 70nm 128Mx8 DRAM chips. The new 4GB kit is backed up by a lifetime warranty. Pricing and availability haven't been announced yet.

PQI Prepares New 4GB DDR2 Memory Kit for CeBIT 2008

Memory solution provider, Power Quotient International or PQI for short today renewed its Turbo overclocking modules by introducing a reworked 240-pin DDR2-1066 4GB dual channel kit. The new kit includes two 2GB memories each made of selected 70nm modules in 128MBx8 double-sided configuration soldered on a 8-layer PCB. PQI's DDR2-1066 4GB kit is slated to work at 1066MHz (CL5-5-5-15) using only 1.92V. In addition, the modules have diamond cut heat-spreaders with a phoenix graphic design to keep your modules nice and cool. The 4GB dual channel kits will be available at the 2008 CeBIT in Hannover, Germany.

PQI launches new SSD and CF drives
