Introduction

To say 1MORE has been busy recently would be an understatement, with an entire revamp of its true wireless stereo (TWS) lineup just in the last few months. We recently saw the 1MORE ColorBuds 2 that introduced SoundID and active noise cancellation (ANC) at the $80 mark, but fell short of executing it well in my opinion. This was followed by the more budget-oriented ComfoBuds 2 and petite ComfoBuds Mini in the running for the world's smallest and lightest set of TWS earphones. I was gearing up to do a quick look article on this, but it is still in the works since 1MORE decided it was not done just yet and brought out its latest flagship offering for the foreseeable future. Simply called the 1MORE EVO, this set distinguishes itself from others in the lineup thus far by going all in on the feature set. It is available in black or white, and I have a black sample here. The biggest thing for me personally is the hybrid driver design consisting of one dynamic and one balanced armature driver, which is extremely rare in the TWS world. 1MORE is also teasing multiple ANC modes, the return of SoundID, tuning by Grammy award winning sound engineer Luca Bignardi, and all the codecs you could ever want, including LDAC. Looks like we once again have a lot being promised, so it is now time to see whether 1MORE has executed things properly in our review which begins with a look at the product specifications in the table below.
