Shape

Although the dimensions suggest that the A530 is a pretty straightforward copy of the SteelSeries Sensei shape, in practice the A530 feels a decent bit smaller in hand. This is mostly due to the size of the hump, which isn't as bulky and steep. Other than that, the basic Sensei shape is fully in place: The front and back flare outwards, while the sides curve inwards, with an overall low profile to boot. All the lines flow seemingly organically with no aggressive curves to speak of. It's a tried and tested shape, and one I immediately found myself familiar and comfortable with during testing.

As for grip styles, the A530 is suitable for all three main grip styles—palm, claw, and fingertip grip. It's a medium-sized mouse with a moderately pronounced hump and should thus fit most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the A530 very comfortable in claw grip.
