Aerocool is a Taiwanese company that was founded nineteen years ago. Dedicated to producing almost all kinds of industrial and mainstream IT equipment, the brand has garnered experience in a broad IT field and is thus capable of covering a wide range of needs. Since gaming is a continuously growing market, every company is now enrolling into this segment with products for gamers with as many options and features as possible.


I previously reviewed a high-end chair from Aerocool's ThunderX3 gaming division made out of mesh, with an adjustable headrest and backrest support. I enjoyed testing and reviewing it, but its stiff price puts it out of reach for most users, which is also why Aerocool, the mother company, has launched a variety of gaming chairs with less intense colors and somewhat old-fashion designs compared to those of their ThunderX3 brand. The AeroSuede Duke gaming chair is equipped with high-density foam and a diamond-quilted pattern to both the backrest and seat. It also features other details, like the PU pleather with a pattern resembling carbon fiber. There are four impressive-looking color options for even the office. The AeroSuede Duke comes with the necessary and most common ergonomics found in gaming chairs, but the most important facet is its price, as it is the lowest priced chair I have ever tested. Its asking price of €199 in the EU (incl. VAT) and $199 (excl. VAT) in the US makes the AeroSuede Duke quite affordable. However, how does it compare to more expensive products?
