BonkEncoder v1.0.14

BonkEncoder is a small end free audio encoder with a wide range of supported audio formats. For this test we encode high quality .flac files into 192kbs ABR MP3 format via LAME codec.

Unfortunately some consistency issues were found in BonkEncoder benchmark with Intel processors. Since this bug could not be corrected, nor the cause could be accurately determined, Intel processors have been kicked off. Below are 12 AMD processors which seem to have no performance problems with this benchmark.

ImToo Audio Encoder is representing commercial versions of audio encoders. It's easy to use, with broad audio format support, and for this test it is used to encode a high quality WMV file into 128 kbs quality MP3 format, also using Lame encoder.

Single threaded encoding in action, and performance boost thanks to Turbo Core is quite noticeable over Phenom II X4 965, yet not sufficient to beat i7 920/860.
