AMD Radeon Crimson Edition Drivers Review

Conclusion

AMD's new Radeon Crimson Edition driver introduces several useful new features, as well as a new graphical user interface that is snappy and gives the company a more modern look and feel. AMD has also highlighted that their approach to in-house testing of both performance and stability has been overhauled; combined with feedback users have given through the Issues Reporting Form, the company seems to be on the right track to bringing their drivers back to a top-notch quality level.

Just like in last year's Omega Edition Drivers, our testing found performance improvements in a variety of titles, both old and new. While the differences aren't huge, I currently don't see any reasons for anyone not to update to the new Radeon Crimson Edition drivers.
