Performance Summary »Overclocking
Overclocking of our CPU was easy thanks to the unlocked multiplier. We set a goal of 4.0 GHz and achieved that with 1.45 V, which is a little bit high for all-day use, but it shows that 4 GHz is in reach on these new CPUs.
I also tested overclocking the integrated graphics using Ryzen Master. The default GPU clock is 1240 MHz and maximum overclocking potential turned out to be 1300 MHz, which is not even 5%. Performance increases were negligible (27.8 FPS vs. 28.5 FPS in Witcher 3, which is 2.5%).
