A Closer Look - Outside
The Antec P82 Flow takes a lot of design queues from the other P-Series enclosures and offers a clean, understated look with a solid front-panel design.
As with the P101, the P82 does not come with a symmetrical front panel. Instead, the left side is angled slightly with an air vent in the top. If you look at it closely enough at the right angle, you can see the company logo in the bottom-right corner. You may pull off the whole front to reveal a magnetic dust filter protecting the three pre-installed 140 mm fans. Turning the chassis around 180°, things look quite traditional with the bottom-mounted PSU.
The side panel of the P82 is devoid of any visible mounting hardware and framed nicely in black. Antec has also placed the entire case I/O on the left of the front panel; it consists of a pretty classic dual USB 3.0 and audio port configuration along with the power and reset buttons. The opposite side of the chassis is made out of steel and completely solid.
The PSU bay in the rear comes with two sets of mounting screws for you to install your power supply any way you like. Above that are the seven horizontal expansion slots with breakout covers, which is why Antec included three reusable covers. In the very top is another 140 mm fan with the same white blades set to push hot air out the back of the case. That brings the total number of pre-installed cooling units to an excellent four, especially considering they are all of the larger variety.
In the top, you will find a large magnetic metal mesh cover that protects the mounting holes for three 120 or two 140 mm fans, or a radiator of up to 240 mm, from dust and grime. That said, if you feel adventurous enough, you could try squeezing in a 280 mm radiator instead.
On the underside is a dust filter that does the same for the PSU bay. You may easily pull it out through the back for easy cleaning without tipping over your whole system.
