Packaging

Antec follows their recent design habits for packaging by placing a visual representation of on the front with some additional details on the back. On one side, you will find a complete specifications table, while the other has just the Performance 1 FT logo. Our retail package was not even taped shut on the bottom, but Antec shipped it within a secondary box, as such, it did not matter. But we do hope that packaging will be perfect for cases sold at retail.

Two thick Styrofoam spacers as well as a foam bag protect the Performance 1 FT from fingerprints and scratches. On top of that, the spacers act as a sandwich to the accessories box.

That secondary package is branded as well to add to the unboxing experience and Antec has placed the separate accessory elements inside foam cutouts as an added measure of protection and attention to detail.

The case ships with a plastic box with sorted screws, which is nice to see. You could use this for other purposes once you have build your system. On top of that, there are a total of six Velcro strips stuck together as pairs for easier shipping, a few zip ties and a 3-way PWM splitter. Lastly, Antec is still one of the few brands that offer paper manuals with their enclosures, which naturally includes the Performance 1 FT.
