Introduction
PC-Coolers is a Romanian distributor and retailer of various PC DIY products, including peripherals, such as keyboards and mice. In addition to working with brands such as
SteelSeries and
Genesis, the company has founded its own house brand called AQIRYS. I hadn't even heard of either PC-Coolers or AQIRYS until late last year when a representative from the brand approached TechPowerUp about potentially covering products from this erstwhile new brand. This led to reviews of an AQIRYS
chair,
PSU,
mouse, and even
case, and we are now adding to the collection with a keyboard review. Thanks to AQIRYS for providing TechPowerUp a review sample!
There are currently three keyboards in the AQIRYS portfolio, although two are the same in different colorways. The brand logo is in the shape of a galaxy, and most AQIRYS products are named after stars. Indeed, the product being reviewed here is called the Aludra TKL after
the star of the same name, and it is obviously a tenkeyless (TKL) keyboard. The marketing photo above confirms RGB back and side lighting, as well as differently colored novelty keycaps. The product page does need some work as text and graphics overlap, but I am not one to resist checking out a new brand because of it. So let's begin our detailed coverage of the AQIRYS Aludra TKL keyboard with a look at the product specifications in the table below.
