If this is your first time assembling a chair, keep the assembly manual close and follow the provided instructions to avoid making any mistakes. Additionally, since the chair is made with a specific type of upholstery, it's always safer to follow the manufacturer's guidelines. You can download the assembly guide here.
Initial Impression
The omnipresent sports bucket seat design was the inspiration for this chair. As such, both the backrest and seat's base have curved edges following this pattern. Furniture designers go for durable fabrics when choosing the upholstery for sofas; however, most ignore some details. Cotton and linen are certainly of better quality, but are occasionally loosely woven. An even better choice is synthetic microfiber. Resembling most fabrics, it is more durable and stain resistant. Breathable fabric is also much quieter regardless of quality since it doesn't produce the rubbing noise of pleather or leather and allows the body to stay cool for considerably longer, which makes focusing on any task you may be involved in easier. The Vernazza's fabric is also built to last, at least for the two years the chair is under warranty, and has ISO-tested characteristics, such as tear growth resistance, slippage resistance, and tensile strength.
Other upgrades to this new Vernazza chair model are the wheel base out of aluminium in a matte black finish and the gas lift having additional height. This chair is not a "gaming chair" since its aesthetics and upholstery are for an office environment.
The chair is wide enough to brace the weight-limit of 145 kg (319.67 lbs). That having been said, the curved edges on the backrest may just cause large users with wide shoulders some discomfort, although we can't be certain because we do not have anyone with such wide shoulders around to test the chair.
