Packaging and Contents

The external packaging remains consistent with previously reviewed ASRock Mini-PCs in that the design is vibrant with a primarily blue and white color scheme. It is also devoid of any information on the unit. There is no marketing hyping features either. Looking at the top, you will find the ASRock industrial logo and the fact this unit belongs to their Mini-PC series but beyond that nothing to see here. The bottom is much the same except for a link to the ASRock industrial website.

The front and back follow the same theme with various industry logos and a QR code on the back, while the front has a barcode.

Meanwhile, both the left and right sides are devoid of any information. I would like to have seen a specifications table somewhere, but considering the market for these systems, its omission is not a huge problem, especially with most of these systems being sold online anyway.

Internally the packaging is designed with the system placed in the center and wrapped in a very thin layer of foam that is sealed with tape. The cardboard tray offers protection from typical bumps, and all the accessories are placed in a separate compartment at the bottom.

As for the included components, you will find all the typical parts. Of course, you get the 4X4 BOX-7735U/D5 along with a power brick. To go with that, you have a VESA mounting bracket with screws and, of course, a tiny screw for your M.2 SSD. To complete the system, as it is a barebones unit, you will need to supply your own memory, SSD or 2.5-inch HDD, and the OS.
