The ASRock B650E Steel Legend WiFi features a 16+2+1 phase VRM configuration. These are setup in as "teamed" power stages, resulting in every two receiving the same PWM signal.


ASRock is using a Renesas RAA 229628 PWM controller to drive the ASRock B650E Steel Legend WiFi power stages.


The ASRock B650E Steel Legend WiFi uses Renesas ISL99360 power stages for the 16 Vcore phases. These power stages each support a maximum of 60 A of continuous current. For the SoC phase, ASRock is using two Renesas ISL99360 (60 A) power stages.


On one end of the VRM setup is the VDD_MISC power. This is using a single Renesas ISL99360 (60 A) power stage and Renesas RAA 229621 for the controller.

ASRock B650E Steel Legend WiFi has a maximum output of 960 (A) dedicated to Vcore.
