Exterior Look
I didn't expect a golden unit to show up on my doorstep, but other colors are available. There are a decent number of connectors here, with USB 3.1 Type-C, a more normal USB 3.0 port, and an audio jack at the front. The rear has dual HDMI, dual USB 3.0, DisplayPort, and LAN, as well as a spot for a Kensington Port for those office and retail installations.
The unit's contoured top houses the power button, while the bottom of the unit has some ventilation holes, although with the unit's power limited by the 36W wall wart, I'm not sure how much cooling is really needed.
The unit itself is rated at 36W, but I think it will consume a bit less under testing, especially since I didn't add a 2.5-inch mechanical drive to my test unit. If we assume a 7.5W limit on large mechanical SSDs, actual unit power draw is certainly less than 30W.
