The ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming ITX features a 10 phase VRM in a (4 x 2) + 2 configuration. Its control layout is identical to the rest of the Phantom Gaming line, but the power stages have been upgraded.

The Intersil ISL69147 PWM controller supports a maximum of seven phases in various configurations. In order to achieve 10 phases, ASRock uses four Intersil ISL6617A doublers located on the back of the board.

The ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming ITX uses Intersil ISL99227B power stages for all 10 phases (8 for the Vcore and 2 for the SOC). These are just about top of the line when it comes to smart power stages, and ASRock has gone with the extra expense because of the lower phase count and tightly packed VRM layout a Mini-ITX board requires.

With a maximum output of 480 A, the board is far above what any Ryzen 3000 CPU could possibly draw even when using LN2. This VRM definitely qualifies as overbuilt.
