Initial Setup
Setting up the ASRock Z170M OC Formula was the same as with any other motherboard, many of which recently feature a fair bit of built-in lighting. I noticed the logo "Born To Be Fast" right off the bat, glowing nicely, but turning off as soon as the POST process was finished.
Once inside the OS, I saw a slightly elevated clock speed ASRock put in place, which isn't unexpected since this board claims to be "Born To Be Fast"!
