Circuit Board (PCB) Analysis
The GPU VRM is 16-phase, controlled by a Monolithic Power Systems MP2888A controller.
The memory VRM is triple-phase, managed by a uPI uP9512 controller.
The GDDR6 memory chips are made by Samsung and carry the model number K4Z80325BC-HC14. They are specified to run at 1750 MHz (14 Gbps GDDR6 effective). Most RTX 2080 Ti cards use Micron memory—this card uses Samsung memory, which overclocks a bit better.
NVIDIA's TU102 graphics processor is the company's largest chip using the Turing architecture. It is produced on a 12 nm process at TSMC, Taiwan and has a transistor count of 18.6 billion with a die size of 754 mm².
