CPU PWM:ASUS Digi+ VRM ASP1405I (x2)
Power Stages: Vcore: Infineon TDA21472 (70 A)
SOC: Infineon TDA21472 (70 A)

The ASUS Prime X299 Edition 30 features an 8-phase Vcore VRM configuration using a parallel power-stage design. Two International Rectifier IR3555 power stages run in parallel for each phase, which gives ASUS double the power-handling capability without using any doublers.

ASUS is using two of their own Digi+ VRM ASP1405I modules to control both the Vcore and the SOC VRM, which are completely separate on the The ASUS ROG Zenith II Extreme. The SOC VRM package is located below the CPU socket, and the Vcore is of course above the socket.

The ASUS Prime X299 Edition 30 uses the International Rectifier IR3555 for all 16 Vcore "phases". With OCP and OTP, and a maximum output of 60 A each, ASUS has made sure the ASUS Prime X299 Edition 30 is ready for all extreme overclocking scenarios. The two SOC Power stages use the ON semiconductor NCP302045 capable of 45 A continuously.

The ASUS Prime X299 Edition 30 has a maximum output of 960 A, which is more than enough for my Intel Core i9-7980XE with 18 cores.
