Board Software
ASUS has some optional software, with Armoury Crate as the central application for many casual users. In it, you can set fan profiles, RGB lighting, and download the newest drivers.
ASUS Ai Suite has gone through a few iterations over the years, but it still functions as overclocking-based software. Ai Suite 3 allows CPU overclocking to be performed inside Windows, instead of adjusting settings inside the BIOS.
After a fresh install of Windows, this driver install pop-up will show up. It can be disabled in the BIOS, but it is nice to have LAN drivers pre-loaded.
GameFirst is ASUS's networking tool. It allows for incoming and outgoing packet optimization, this may come in handy when streaming to Twitch or YouTube while gaming and using Discord simultaneously. A ROG-based router may be configured from within this software instead of the standard web browser method or phone app.
