Shape

Much like the Strix Impact II, the shape of the Pugio II has been revised compared to its predecessor in name. It's still a fully ambidextrous shape (symmetrical) with side buttons on both sides. The hump is centered and gradually slopes down towards both ends. The sides curve inward slightly, but the width remains almost entirely the same from end to end otherwise. This results in the mouse being fairly wide overall, with a larger than average footprint to boot. It's a very balanced design with only little curves and fancy design elements to speak of. A rather uncommon trait, however, is the sensor positioning, with it more towards the front and above the thumb. The Pugio II is one of only a few mice with such sensor positioning, in particular as an ambidextrous mice.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Pugio II is suitable for all three grip styles; i.e., palm, claw, and fingertip grip. It's a large mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, so it's mostly for larger and wider hands. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Pugio II quite comfortable in claw grip.
