Shape

Compared to the Strix Impact/Sica, the shape of the Strix Impact II is quite different. It's still an ambidextrous mouse, of course, but that's pretty much where the similarities end. The Strix Impact II is significantly longer, and the back flare and hump is notably absent. In fact, the Strix Impact II basically doesn't flare out at all and gets progressively wider towards the front instead. The hump extends across the entire width, while being positioned slightly towards the back across the length, sloping down gradually towards the back and front. The sides are slanted but mostly straight (not convex like on the G305/203/Pro), resulting in a slimmer width at which it is gripped than the dimensions may suggest. The shape closest to the Strix Impact II I can think of would be the original Razer Krait from 2006. While clearly a departure from the Strix Impact/Strix design, the shape of the Strix Impact II works well and is fairly unique, although I personally dislike the slanted sides.

As for grip styles, I'd say the Strix Impact II is mostly suited for claw and fingertip grip. It's a medium-sized mouse with a moderately pronounced hump, so it should fit most hand sizes. For reference, my hands are 19 cm long and 10 cm wide, and I found the Strix Impact II very comfortable in claw grip.
