The ASUS ROG Zenith II Extreme features an 8-phase Vcore VRM configuration using a parallel power stage design. This means there are two Infineon TDA21472 power stages running in parallel for each phase. This gives ASUS double the power-handling capability without using any doublers.

ASUS is using two of their own Digi+ VRM ASP1405I to control both the Vcore and the SOC VRM which are completely separate on the The ASUS ROG Zenith II Extreme. The SOC VRM package is located below the CPU socket, and the Vcore is of course above the socket.

The ASUS ROG Zenith II Extreme uses Infineon TDA21472 power stages for all 20 "phases" (16 for the V-Core and 4 for the SOC). With OCP and OTP, and a maximum output of 70 A each, ASUS has made sure the ASUS ROG Zenith II Extreme is ready for all extreme overclocking use cases.

The ASUS ROG Zenith II Extreme has a maximum output of 1120 A, which will handle even the monstrous upcoming 3990X.
