The twelve colors and clan logo options are on their own a good start for the Backforce One Plus. The metallic-golden details of the PU upholstery and velvety Alcantara fabric look good and feel luxurious. Its futuristic design fits any working or gaming environment, though four of the twelve upholstery covers tilt more toward a gaming environment. To meet as many needs as possible, the One Plus has all the typical ergonomics on top of a few other functions.
Additional, optional accessories are always a good idea, and this is where Backforce shines in comparison to others through highly customizable shoulder patches. Add the great ergonomic adjustability to enjoy this gaming chair a bit more. The Gamer Pulse brooch is not visible to the user, and most likely won't be used by many. That having been said, it is in my opinion still an excellent, rare addition to a gaming chair. Its dual-core seat with mixed foam density and cover materials is great, too. Slightly contoured edges there, but they won't get in the way, and with the armrests folded to the rear, there is plenty of space, enough for the maximum weight limit.
As with everything, some facets have to be put through the test of time. One is the wooden frame. Whether it is better than a metal frame remains to be see, also as we have never before come across a chair with a wooden frame. That having been said, it does make for comfortable sitting. A somewhat troublesome issue I came across concerns the armrests. Covered in a velour-like synthetic fabric, they looks great, but drift around with almost every move. Pricing for the One Plus is also high, which Backforce tries to justify with the ten-year warranty and it being handcraft and locally produced in Germany, both of which does put one's mind at ease.
