The new Dark Pro P10 series looks amazing, judging from its smallest member that I tested in this review. The Dark Power Pro 550W packs a great deal of features for its category and it's the first unit around 500W providing so many cables/connectors. Also the new FSP platform on which this PSU is based on performs really well and I was thrilled when I saw that finally FSP decided to utilize an MOV into their designs. The small Be Quiet is a solid performer featuring tight voltage regulation on all rails, high efficiency even at very low loads, it is resilient to high operating temperatures and its build quality is excellent. On top of that it is inaudible at all cases and via the flip of a switch it can be easily converted to a single +12V rail PSU. The cherry on top is the rich bundle that ships with it and the almost fully modular design that it utilizes (only the main ATX cable is fixed).
The only negative points I could find was the somewhat high ripple at +12V (for a high-end unit) and the stiff price, but once you look at what this PSU offers then you can easily figure out why it costs almost 130 bucks.

To conclude, if you want one of the best 550W units money can buy then the new Dark Pro P10 should be among the top choices on your list since it packs loads of features along with very good performance. Be Quiet/FSP did a really good job with this unit and our test results clearly show this. Regarding availability, Be Quiet told us that this unit will be available in EU stores in June and about two months later it will be also available in the U.S.
