be quiet! Pure Loop 2 FX 360

We were also provided with another anniversary product: the be quiet Pure Loop 2 FX. Unlike the chassis with the FX moniker, this AIO does not simply add ARGB element as it is based on the new, second generation Pure Loop AIO. Just like all be quiet liquid coolers, the unit ships in a black box with full color print. All the parts and accessories are neatly packaged and held in place with a molded cardboard insert.

The three fans are unaltered, retail-grade Light Wings 120 mm units. Each of these comes with an PWM interface and 3-pin ARGB connector. be quiet! also includes some extra coolant so that you may top off your AIO in the future. Last, but not least, there is a well written manual and some warranty information included.

The cooler ships with the usual mounting parts for AMD and Intel, alongside three black zip ties and a small tube of thermal paste. If you look closely, the Intel bag includes an LGA 1700 mounting kit which also happens to be labeled LGA 1800. To control the ARGB elements of the fans, be quiet has included a capable ARGB controller that also offers PWM fan hub functionality. As such, the package no longer includes a simple 3-way PWM splitter cable.

At first sight, the AIO itself looks pretty similar to the original, first generation Pure Loop. But there a few subtle differences, naturally starting with the branding on the radiator itself. The biggest functional change however is the fact that the pump now comes with a PWM interface, whereas the original Pure Loops are RPM based.

The base of the Pure Loop 2 FX is the same as the first generation - at least visually. However, unlike the original which only had white LEDs and a easily removable cover, the second generation variant sports ARGB and its cover is no longer removable.

The Light Wing fans feel quite hefty and are far heavier than the Pure Wings 2 of the original Pure Loops. Overall, these have far more plastic, look and feel sturdier and have quite the different design as well. These also come with rubber pads as an anti-vibration measure.

On the frame there is some be quiet branding and two triangles to let you know which way the fan will spin and the direction the air will be pushed.
