Finished Looks

Be quiet's all-black design is visually appealing for those that don't like ARGB lighting; leaving the LEDs disconnected results in a cooler that is a bit more balanced in regards to contrast due to the white diffusion ring on the fan. However, If you want the Pure Rock 2 FX to stand out, just activate the LEDs, and boom, you have a good-looking, customizable cooler.

The Graphics card and memory clearance are perfect. Be quiet!'s design uses an offset fin stack, and that creates ample space. Therefore I found no conflicts or issues to speak of. Meaning the Pure Rock 2 FX, much like its siblings, should be just fine for Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX builds as long as you have enough height clearance.

When it comes to the ARGB lighting on the Pure Rock 2 FX, it is entirely limited to the fan. This isn't necessarily bad as It adds enough lighting to be aesthetically pleasing without going overboard. It also helps that the Light Wings fan offers uniform lighting where individual LEDs are not all that noticeable. That remains a pet peeve for me, since poorly implemented ARGB LEDs can take away more than improve matters regarding a cooler's overall look. Here at least, I found no real drawbacks unless you are in the ARGB equates to trash group, in which case I don't know what to say other than to leave them turned off, or grab the Pure Rock 2 non-FX version.
