Board Software

There is not much offered in the way of software with the Biostar Racing Z170GT7, but with so many users complaining about "bloatware," I think what Biostar has provided is perfect. There are two simple utilities for either tech-support information or BIOS updates and back-ups, but not much else.


The added bit of software rolls several functions into one, with Biostar's Racing GT. You get a system information listing and an adjustment panel for audio on the first two pages.


The third panel offers controls for the onboard 5050 LEDs, and the fourth offers some hardware monitoring functions.


The final panel offers some software-level clock tweaking, but I still do not recommend using software to overclock a product, nevermind this one. It's nice to have for some quick, minor changes, though.
